Ok check this. The days since last update on my buddy list (in no particular order): 22 3 38 21 2 30 And I thought my one week absence was bad. So I decided what all I'm going to do with all my graduation money. The $550 in savings bonds (not exactly graduation money but whatever) all goes into savings. As for the ~$700 in gift monies, $150 goes for a tablet, $100 to checking to piddle away on CDs or whatever, and the rest to savings. If my beloved Sharon will come out, I'll buy half her ticket, which will be another $100 or so. So yeah. Speaking of piddling money away on CDs, I just placed an order for four. Total? $11.some change. I love my CD club membership, weee! Then on Tuesday I'm going to pick up the Juliana Theory CD I was eyeballing last time around. In fact, I really have a free $20 to spend on CDs because someone never cashed the check I wrote for the CDs I bought through Bettie Rocket mail order back in like January. And I can't wait for Chevelle to hurry up and release their new album. Seriously man. Three years is a long time. Take your sweet time, make it good, but seriously. I need some new Chevelle. Which reminds me of another reason Sharon needs to come out again this year. . . we still have to do our Chevelle cover. We both have an aversion to chick bands so we thought it would be fun to write new lyrics for a Chevelle song, then record us singing (read: female raging) it with the actual song playing to provide instrumentals. Then we could send it to Chevelle and tell them how much we love them. That would be nice and confusing for them. We also have big plans to make a film, "Night Celica to Terror." The name is meaningful for us and a few other people, but I won't get into it here. Anyway, she teases me ceaselessly over the Omar story. I'll give it in brief: when I was on vacation with my family in Florida last year I ended up befriending this Egyptian fellow, Omar, and he ended up like going to theme parks with my family and stuff. Pretty random. Anyway, Sharon is always like, "Heh-LO Ho-LEE" and such. So the film is going to be based on this story she made up about me and Omar, with the two of us playing me and . . .um . .. Omar. And I do realize that she and I will be the only ones who will be able to enjoy the movie, but it doesn't matter because it will be fun to make. I promised myself I would read this summer, so I am going to go get me some of that. Mmmmmmmm. Books. MMMMMMMMmmmmmm. P.S. Mint Skittles! Good stuff! P.P.S. Megatokyo visitors, welcome and please sign the guestbook. Cool.
