So there. The only question is, if I'm such a genius, why did I forget that I even took that test until I got an email about it . . . hmm? Anyway. This morning my friend Bobby's mom called my mom to let her know she was leaving her husband. I subsequently went to work, and then Bobby stopped by. He had been at work all morning so I was thrown into some turmoil. "Will he be mad when he finds out that I knew and didn't tell him? Should I tell him?" Uugh. No good. Before he left I said, "Your mom called this morning. I'm not sure what things are going to be like when you get home." He said he knew she left, and that's all he knew. I'm glad someone had told him, though. And apparently she went back tonight, so yeah. I really hope things work out for them. I got my bank statement today. It had that little thing on the top, where it shows your total inflows and total outflows. Apparently I spent like $300 last month. Now, I do keep my checkbook updated, but it's different when you do your checkbook and you just keep deducting $13 here, $25 there. And what did I spend all that money on? Let's look: $20 - Bath & Body Works - Sea Salt Scrub $30 - Beads on Ebay (THIRTY BUCKS!?!?) $40 - My total out-of-pocket expense for college, which is actually going to shrink $40 - Application fee for Mercy Ships, which rejected me $18 - School supplies $26 - CD's (that's three) $60 - Vehicle improvement (dash cover, seat covers, steering cover) Among other things. Man, I needed that reality check. I was feeling like I was spending all my money on CD's, when in reality I'm wasting my money on things like an education and application fees.
