"I'm happy, I'm so very happy."

-Paul Ruebens in a Cheech and Chong movie

So, today, a sign from Heaven. I don't know if I ever mentioned it here but I taught myself how to play guitar for a semester, then I got lessons for a semester, then I quit when school ended (I was using it for credits) and gave the guitar back to the person from whom I borrowed it. Lately, I've been missing that, then the dewd who was teaching me said he knew someone who was selling a guitar cheaply. So I considered it.

Then, today, a package arrived in the mail. Containing Chevelle picks.

Ok, God, if you say so!

Anyway, I need some sleep. The past few days have been nuts. Tuesday, I got up early to drive an hour to the city to buy the new album, did some banking and a small amount of shopping because I had to be back here for class at 12:30. I ditched my second class and went to work (doesn't make a LOT of sense, except for the money part). Yesterday, I had to be down at the senior center at 8 AM as part of a Sociology project, then I went to school at 12:30, then I tutored from 3:30-4:30, then I painted (the walls upstairs where my parents are remodeling) like a madman until around 9:15, when Politics Josh arrived to study for an upcoming Humanities exam. TODAY, I got up at seven and painted like a madman again, then went to school from 12:30-6:15, gave a classmate a ride home, then came home, cleaned the interior of my car (boy did it need it) and moved furniture around in the office.

It's been awhile since I actually had to work like this. It feels kind of nice to have physically exerted myself and be all tired before 1 AM.

Sans transition, my mom bought Cheez-Its again. A big Costco box. Honestly, I think she wants me to be fat and broken out. I have to be strong. I have to learn to moderate the temptation of the salty, cheddary goodness.
