All righty then. New layout is still rocking me, so spiffy! I also joined like eight million rings, wee! All kinds of makeovers going on here. Anyway. Life: 1) School. School is out, out OUT for the semester. Three weeks of freedom, my friends. Three weeks of no looming deadlines, guilt-free relaxation, and fun! 2) Work. Still unemployed . . . nearly three months now. Nothing has really worked out and I feel like I may not even have to work this summer. Today our pastor hired me to help with their yard (aka hauling lumber, moving lumber, drilling lumber, measuring lumber, holding lumber over my head for insane amounts of time) and I'm thinking I could just hire myself out for babysitting, manual labor, whatever, since it's all going to the Move To Mexico fund anyway. 3) Personal. I don't even know where to begin. There is someone that's causing me to rethink my convictions on dating but I still feel like it's not the time for me to get back into that. He's just the most awesome guy ever, though. Every time we hang out it just feels so natural and I love that he has the spine to stand up to me. I love a good argument and too many guys just get all whipped and bleeeah. And he can disagree without getting offended, which is soooooo refreshing. He's also really nice to me, which is just the sweetest feeling ever. His name is Joe. Actually, just kidding, it's Sebastian, and that in itself is enough to make him cool. I'm really excited for the next few weeks. My favorite girl EVER is coming out to Cali to visit me before she goes to work at Yosemite for the summer. I'm going to try to start training for the annual Sierra Nevada backpacking trip that's coming up in a couple short months. I'm also going to try to create something beautiful every day, whether with my guitar, hemp thread, charcoal pencils, watercolors, Wacom, whatever. All in all, I'm content. God is so good to me that I can't hardly stand it sometimes. He just looooves to bless us. I just have to work on taking his gifts with fewer questions.
